Hailing from Durban, South Africa – Caz has a  professional maritime background. She’s spent the last  6 years in yachting working primarily on deck, & holds a 200-ton Captains License. This year, she will complete her Officer Of the Watch 3000-ton (OOW), and Chief Mate tickets. Caz started her career with a 6900nm equatorial crossing from South Africa to Florida on a 39ft sail yacht. She has since completed another two Trans-Atlantic crossings on superyachts. She’s sailed the Caribbean, the eastern coast of the USA, Bermuda, Azores and the Mediterranean.

Due to her immense respect for the ocean, Caz volunteers for Sea Shepherd during her downtime in a fight for Marine Conservation.

To complete the package, she has an unmistakable creative side and will be the team’s go to for all boat repairs. Caz has valiantly decided to undertake the TWAC in a bid to drive herself mentally and join a legacy of the surprising humans who have thrust their way through this conquest with great vigor.
